Invisible (Ball, 2015)

A forum for religion or related topics. Note: "religion", meaning belief system that "binds", can be either theistic, agnostic, or atheistic; for example:
“Cosmology is a kind of religion for intelligent atheists.”
— Stephen Hawking (c.1962), description to his wife, when they first met, about himself

Invisible (Ball, 2015)

The "religion" category icon that I made today, for this sub forum, to note, is a modification of Philip Ball's 2015 book Invisible: The Dangerous Allure of the Unseen:

I found the book, while key term searching for "theological thermodynamics" today:

The title and cover seem to be a play on the Tyndall vs Stewart and Tait BAAS debate (1874):

and the resulting 1875 book The Unseen Universe: Speculations of a Future State (1875) by Stewart and Tait.
All the best, Libb.
